Conference Summary on the ‘Lyme Disease’ Component! There were a few patients present who asked Maggie Deblock questions about Lyme disease. She rightly said that Lyme disease is recognized, but she could not recognize the chronic, persistent form of the disease since, according to her, this form does not exist scientifically.

Moreover, according to Deblock, the Elisa tests are reliable. She even persisted in her remarks when we questioned her about the fact that these Elisa tests only check a few strains of Borrelia among the many other existing strains.

On the other hand, Ms. Deblock told us that she does not doubt that we are really sick, but that the exact cause would not have been found yet.

However, it has implemented research projects that will be funded by the state, precisely on these so-called “orphan diseases”.

She agreed to receive the file I had prepared and I hope to hear from her …

During this conference, I also reviewed the health advisers of our Prime Minister, Mr. Charles Michel, and also of Olivier Chastel. They gave me some more advice and they also confirmed to me that they, for their part, continued to insist on the Office of the Minister of Health. They told me that action via the European authorities is a parallel solution that could also change the situation.

They found flyers and prevention very important, as well as not waiting for things to move on their side, but moving forward and putting some actions in place ourselves.

I also had the pleasure of seeing Professor Jacques Brotchi again, he examined our flyers and read them. He, too, found the approach of prevention very positive.
